Rest assured that we are following public health and industry recommendations to guide safe operations of our café. We do this through a high standard for sanitation & hygiene standards, distancing and payment options:

Frequent surface cleaning with commercial grade sanitizers
Use of gloves, barrier papers and utensils when handling food
Dish, utensil and cookware cleaning with commercial grade sanitizers
Our staff wear gloves, face coverings, aprons and head coverings for our mutual protection
Frequent handwashing
PICK UP & DELIVERY OPTIONS
We made some changes following the start of the Pandemic. We offer pickup and delivery options. We recommend that you place your order in advance (at least 30 minutes ahead - a bit more in the evening) so that it can be ready for you when you arrive onsite or to ensure delivery in your expected window. Please note that we often work through 3rd party delivery companies and occasionally there can be unexpected delays.

Some of our items are also available for pickup at our Afrotechture store in the Byward Market!
Orders and gifts placed directly with our restaurant for delivery (phone, in person or website) are brought to you by our local delivery partners Beechwood Markets/Ottawa Street Markets, GetItLocal and GopherIt. Baccanalle is also listed on Ubereats. Once in a while a member of our team might do your delivery!

All food will be packaged in our recyclable/compostable containers and cups. We will also provide disposable/recyclable/compostable eating utensils and straws on request.
