TEMPORARY OPERATING POLICY

Dear Valued Baccanalle & Capital Fare Café Customers & Friends,

 

We share your concerns about the developments in our community about the health risk posed by COVID-19. We are taking steps to protect our customers, our staff, our families, our community and ourselves by doing our best to limit exposure while we operate. We appreciate your patience as we work to do our part to help protect the safety of our customers, our staff, our families, our community and ourselves while providing you with great food during this challenging time.

Rest assured that we are following public health and industry recommendations to guide safe operations of our café. We maintain a high standard with respect to sanitation and hygiene.

SANITATION & HYGIENE

  • Frequent surface cleaning with commercial grade sanitizers

  • Use of gloves, barrier papers and utensils when handling food

  • Dish, utensil and cookware cleaning with commercial grade sanitizers

  • Our staff wear gloves, face coverings, aprons and head coverings for our mutual protection

  • Frequent handwashing and single use towels for hand-drying

 

PICK UP & DELIVERY OPTIONS

We will be fulfilling advance orders for pickup or delivery only.

 

  • All pick up orders can be collected at the appointed pickup time at 595 Montreal Road, c/o Capital Fare Cafe in the Phenix Professional building.   Please take a ticket (free 15 minute parking) and proceed to the back of the building and call us for curbside delivery (613-859-6297).  Please have your order confirmation with you when you come to pick up.

  • Orders placed directly with our restaurant (phone, in person or website) are delivered by Love Local Delivery.  Our Artisan gifts are also available for delivery by Givopoly.  Baccanalle is also listed on Ubereats and SkipTheDishes.

 

PAYMENT OPTIONS

 

CAFÉ ACCESS

  • The Café dining room will be locked to external customers other than staff, management and cleaning personnel. The door will be locked except to pass pickup pre-orders.

 

SERVEWARE & UTENSILS

  • All food will be packaged in our disposable containers and cups. We will also provide disposable/recyclable/compostable eating utensils and straws.

We will be fulfilling advance orders for pickup or online delivery only. Menus and delivery options are posted online at www.baccanalle.com.

  • If you are picking up your order: Please place your order at least 30 minutes in advance by calling/texting us at 1-613-859-6297, or by email at info@baccanalle.com. Once we receive your order, we will contact you to take payment and to arrange for your contactless pickup. Payment can be made directly over the phone with a credit card, or an invoice can be sent. PLEASE NOTE: No payments will be accepted at the door. All pick up orders can be collected at the appointed pickup time at 595 Montreal Road, c/o Capital Fare Cafe in the Phenix Medical Office building. Please have your order confirmation with you when you come to pick up.

 

HOURS OF OPERATION

Until further notice, our hours of operation are as follows

  • Sunday-Tuesday: CLOSED

  • Wednesday: 4pm – 7pm

  • Thursday: 12pm – 8pm

  • Friday: 12pm – 8pm

  • Saturday: 2pm – 8pm
