I am an Award-winning Chef based in Canada's beautiful national capital - Ottawa, Ontario. I’m a proud Mom of two amazing humans and also blessed to have the support of my Husband and my loved ones!
My family originates from Trinidad & Tobago and I was born in Winnipeg (ironic and awesome!). I completed Chef School at Algonquin College and also have a Chemical Engineering degree from UOttawa and spent most of my professional life in environmental engineering and management prior to becoming a Chef. I love the opportunity to blend my Caribbean Heritage and Canadian Nationality to create traditional and innovative flavours!
Several years ago, I left my environmental/engineering career and pursued professional training at Algonquin College to become a Chef - a second dream come true after Engineering. I integrate my heritage, my engineering background and culinary skills to innovate products and recipes. I am incredibly proud to have represented the High Commission for Trinidad & Tobago to win top honours for the Embassy Chef Challenge - Championship and People's Choice Awards. Our company has been highlighted by the Food Network as one of the top Woman-led food businesses in Canada. I’m also incredibly proud to have been chosen for the 2025 National Arts Centre Resident Chef Program.
I'm delighted to be part of Ottawa’s food scene, local economy and Caribbean culture.
I am only where I am to my great clients, supporters, collaborators and last but not at all least my team and my family! I have a depth of gratitude for your support!
I look forward to hearing from you!
