Baccanalle is led by award-winning Executive Chef and CEO Resa Solomon-St. Lewis. Resa is a professionally trained Chef (Culinary school - Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario) and combines this with her in-depth knowledge and expertise with Caribbean cuisine to produce and create exceptional dishes with beautiful flavours and crossing a number of ethnic and culinary styles.

  • Resa was selected as the first Ottawa-based Chef to the NAC (National Arts Centre) Resident Chef program - showcasing selections from her fine dining menu on this national culinary stage (January 7 - March 1, 2025).
  • Resa holds both of the Championship and People's Choice Awards titles from Ottawa's prestigious Embassy Chef Challenge competition
  • Baccanalle has been highlighted as one of the best Woman-led food businesses/restaurants in Canada
